MANILA, Philippines – Marian Rivera kept it sweet and simple for her and real-life beau Dingdong Dantes this Valentine’s Day.
“Bumili lang ako ng card tapos may message lang ako sa kanya. Tapos may binili lang ako na isang maliit na maliit na pin ng angel na nakalagay ‘You’re my guardian angel,’” shared Rivera in a taped interview aired on “24 Oras,” Feb. 14.
The Kapuso talent said in an earlier interview that they won’t be able to have a full-on V-day celebration because they have a taping on Feb 15. Plus, Dantes happens to be a guest performer in the Valentine concert of singers Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid the day prior at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Blessed Bianca
An obviously smitten Bianca Manalo needs only a few words to profess her great feelings for boyfriend John Prats.
"Sobrang mahalaga siya sa akin. Na basta, basta alam 'ko, na hangga't nandiyan siya, masaya ako," the towering beauty queen declared in an interview with “The Buzz” aired on Feb. 12.
Recall that Prats confirmed recently that they are officially a couple.
According to Manalo, she is grateful to have him in her life.
"Kasi, kung iisipin mo naman, lahat ng gestures na ginagawa niya sa akin, parang, 'Totoo ba 'yan?'
"Pero in fairness naman sa kanya, consistent siya. Hindi nag-iiba,” said she, most likely pertaining to the surprise Manila Bay cruise date that Prats arranged for Manalo's birthday last month.
In the end, the 25-year-old TV host wished for their relationship to endure.
"Alam mo, kung ano ang meron kami ngayon, ‘yung samahan namin together, masaya ako. Sobra akong thankful.
"Kung anuman ang meron kami ngayon, sana magtuluy-tuloy,” she enthused.
Niña’s new love
Meanwhile, young sexy actress Niña Jose has new love in 31-year-old, non-showbiz businessman Josh Calata.
"We've been together a month and a half. We just got together December, New Year's eve actually. Pero okey naman everything,” said Jose in an interview with PEP posted on Feb. 14.
According to her, though Calata is a “private person,” they are very open to one another and that he actually knows about the rumors linking her to veteran TV host Vic Sotto.
"I think he accepts me naman for who I am and he loves me. Tanggap naman niya lahat, whatever my past,” she enthused.
She even added, “There's no pressure in our relationship. We're like best friends. Para nga kaming magkapatid ‘eh.
"I can be myself with him. I feel very loved," she emphasized.
Meanwhile Jose, once and for all, cleared Sotto from the issue saying that they were never a couple.
“No, no! Of course, we were never together. He's just a very kind man. Siguro, natutuwa lang siya sa akin. Pero nothing going on between the two of us," she explained.
Recall that just last month, the 23-year-old star admitted to have received not just flowers but something else from Sotto, as if insinuating that he's wooing her.

Si Albert "Betong" Sumaya ang nagwagi sa titulong Celebrity Sole Survivor at nag-uwi ng P3 milyong premyo sa Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown nitong Biyernes.
Nakalaban ni Betong sa titulong Sole Celebrity Survivor sa ika-apat na season ng Survivor Philippines sina Mara Lopez Yokohama at Stef Prescott.
Ang pitong Jury Members na pumili ng nanalong Sole Celebrity Survivor ay sina Chuckie Dreyfus, Arthur Solinap, John Odulio, Gino dela Peña, Arnold Aninion, Maey Bautista, at ang huling napatalsik sa isla na si KC Montero.
Sa finale ng Survivor Philippines Celebrity Doubles Showdown na ipinalabas sa GMA 7, at pinangunahan ng host na si Richard Gutierrez, lumitaw na apat na boto ang nakuha ni Betong kontra sa dalawang boto ni Mara at isa kay Stef.
Ang mga castaways ay 36 na araw na nagtagisan ng lakas at nagpautakan sa isang isla sa Palawan.
Ang unang tinanghal na Celebrity Sole Survivor ay ng Brazilian-Japanese model turned actor na si Akihiro Sato sa 3rd season ng Survivor Philippines at nagsilbing unang Celebrity Showdown.
