MANILA, Philippines - The formal blessing of Mother Lily Monteverde’s Taal Imperial Hotel & Resort tomorrow, Feb. 6 will be one glittery affair as Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos-Recto (photo) leads the list of guests in the ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m.
Situated in Bgy. Tulo, Taal, Batangas, Mother Lily spent an entire year overseeing the construction of her dream resort, the latest “baby” in her real-estate business.
Vast, modern and perfect for families, the resort houses family villas, a condotel, two swimming pools, a main function hall, videoke/music room, massage room, billiards and kiddie playground.
This early, Taal Imperial Resort has played host to events like debuts, seminars, weddings and other similar functions.
Mother Lily personally picked Gov. Vi to be her “baby’s” godmother inspired as she is by the actress-politician’s remarkable service to the province. Also invited to the inauguration are the Regal matriarch’s closest friends from show business.
“Dream ko talagang magkaroon ng resort sa Taal, wala nang iba pa. I love the place, the culture and of course, the people here. I think I found the right place to invest and I promise the people here at sa mga magiging visitor na hindi sila madi-disappoint sa pagbisita nila sa Taal Imperial Hotel & Resort. Marami pa akong balak na itayong negosyo dito,” Mother Lily says.
